"Dégustation chez J. B. Labat. Un nez très fruité mais plutôt sur l’acidité que sur le côté pâtissier, fruits verts. Un petit creux en bouche, puis les fruits débarquent. Fruits plutôt acides mais complexes. La finale est belle, sur les fruits (mangue surtout) et sur l’amertume du bois. En comparaison directe avec le nouveau 4 ans (RX18241), ce profil est d’avantage porté sur l’acidité des fruits et l’amertume du bois, ce qui le rend plus long en finale mais nettement moins gourmand en bouche."

"au début, très fruité avec des notes de lychee, de miel, d'abricot et d'eucalyptus au nez, mais après un certain temps, il devient extrêmement charnu et fermenté, sulfureux... au goût, un peu de poire et de miel, puis à nouveau cette note de colle et de BBQ, ainsi qu'un peu de lychee en boîte et d'herbes alpines, et de bois de santal. Mais la colle et les lichens en boîte dominent nettement jusqu'à la fin. passionnant mais pas pour les âmes sensibles et surtout pas pour tous les jours ! Pourrait être un peu plus fruité et moins brûlé et l'alcool pourrait être un peu mieux intégré, la note serait alors plus élevée."

"I had expected this one to be heavier in the profile, not that it's a bad Port Mourant, but I would have loved some more power. Lightly dry on the palate with some fruit and nuts. Kind of fresh for a PM actually and I get a floral note I can't put my finger on."
