"This rum from the Swedish company Brands For Fans containing 8yo Solera rum from Dom. Rep. The rum was released 2018 around three years after the band disbanded. The bands last drummer, the Swede Micky Dee was heavily involved in the development. The rum has won several medals since the introduction, but I think it’s too sweet especially during the medium long finish. With a higher ABV it should in my opinion been better."

"It’s of course quite sweet as most of the rum from Dom.Rep., but the rather high ABV balances the sweetness quite well. It’s produced by Brands For Fans and it’s created together with the band. It contains 8 - 15yo rum. The name is taken from the song “Detroit Rock City”, from the “Destroyer” album which has an artwork like the label on the bottle. The aroma in nose is quite weak, but in front of the mouth and at the palate it tastes a lot as well as during the rather long finish."
