"Very intense pleasure - but with a Clarendon with these key data, this was not to be expected otherwise. The taste shows fully ripe as well as fresh tropical fruits, mint, pepper, olive, barrel influences...the list of flavors to be found grows with every sip. Impressive, already one of the highlights of 2023!"

"It is already apparent on the nose, but on the palate it is finally clear: this is a top representative from the 1995 Clarendon vintage. Fully ripe tropical fruit, mint, wood, even the age is recognizable - in a positive sense. Very complex, yet round, fresh, yet heavy - the EMB profile of the 1995 vintage is definitely one of the best of the EMB profile and also sets benchmarks for Jamaican releases in general. This rum is further proof of this - only the alcohol integration is not quite on a par with its sister releases. Nevertheless, an exquisite release."

"Comparatively bitter New Yarmouth 1994, which shows the typical sweetness DNA, but in addition already shows clear aging characteristics. The barrel has worked and, in addition to the obligatory vanilla, toffee and coconut notes, also bitter wood influences and tart leather notes flow in. However, all this remains within absolutely tolerable limits; in fact, I don't dislike these rough edges, the quaffable sweetness gets a clear counterpoint. Beautiful selection."

"Tip: please give the rum at least an hour to acclimatize and show its full potential.on the nose an absolute explosion, I think I've never smelled something more intense🤣 passion fruit, mint, freshly cut grass, granny smith apples, vanilla marshmallows, a good load of ester and funk.... fantastic!in the taste it then completely slays you here caution is called for... if you go for it but another explosion of passion fruit, molasses, grass and nutmeg and green pepper. super exciting!🔥🇯🇲🔥🇯🇲🔥 certainly makes a gigantic daiquiri that catapults you to the moon!☢️🚀🇯🇲By the way, this is probably one of the best daiquiris you can make!🤤😜 incredibly complex and delicious!"
