"28.03.2024 Retasting at Swell de Spirits Masterclass and I stick to my score. Won a few points 😊 ------------------------ #4069 Thanks to a good friend I got these nice Swell de Spirits and they perform pretty well. This is the last of the samples and also a great one. Intense and fruity, one might say dirty as well. Great balance between the elements and I like the rubber note in the back. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some herbs and nutts."

"Untypical Long Pond. Little ester and rather hints of the barrel-strong Appleton Hearts. Very intense and concentrated. Alcohol could be a bit better integrated. Nevertheless, exciting profile!"

"Little Savanna GA & HERR cross tasting: On the nose the SdS starts off more towards spices (turmeric) and herbal notes (menthol) while the other contestants have more accentuates fruity notes right from the start. Over (a rather long) time, the SdS gravitates towards the Edition Blanc, while the latter one is more balanced. The SdS retains this little extra accent towards spices. On the palate the fruits clearly take over. Again not as well balanced as the Edition Blanc but with a bit more fruity notes and intensity almost as good in my book."

"Edit Edit: had another one in the glass at the Swell Masterclass. A really great Fiji. Edit: In the comparison test with other Fiji, this one is in the top third in my opinion and is one of the best Fiji bottlings I've had in a glass. Evaluated quickly when bottling. I like it quite well at first glance. But will have to compete against other Fiji again."

"Also ich muss diesen Rhum einfach überdurchschnittlich bewerten. Für mich eine rundum gelungene Angelegenheit. Ich mag vor allem diese frische, grasige Süße, die ihn zu einem Paradebeispiel eines Agricole macht. Erinnert mich ein bisschen an einen La Dame Jeanne - gut so."

"Edit: enjoyed again in peace as a digestive rum after lunch at the Italian restaurant. I'm always a bit critical of Swell, but this one really won me over for once. Great bottling. Adjusted upwards a little. Unfortunately only sipped briefly when bottling. First impressions are better than the last Swell T.D.L Privat Garden #4, but a detailed tasting will follow."

"Für den Preis eigentlich ganz o.k. nach meinem Erachten aber nicht wirklich eine Knaller Abfüllung. Was natürlich vielleicht mal einen kleinen Extrapunkt ein bringt, das es von swell ausnahmsweise relativ pünktlich erschienen ist. Sorry Sarkasmus muss sein. Mein Fazit, ein Sommer Sipper für zwischendurch, aber nichts, wo ich jetzt eine Flasche davon bräuchte"

"Wow. Definitely in my top 5 best foursquare rums I've had so far. Incredibly drinkable, aromatic and complex. Unusual but awesome is especially this light green chili note that perfectly complements the otherwise typical caramelized coconut, banana chocolate note. I would have bought me in any case gladly! Since you can quickly times accidentally make the bottle empty in one evening😂🤤"
