"1er Caroni et 1ère dégustation sur RumX. Très complexe, j'ai eu besoin de quelques gouttes d'eau pour réduire l'intensité et j'ai certainement besoin de quelques essais supplémentaires pour saisir toutes les saveurs. J'ai l'impression que noter ce rhum sur une échelle de 1 à 100 est injuste en soi, mais j'apprendrai ma propre façon de donner une note avec plus de commentaires. Je n'ai pas été découragé par le Caroni HTR et j'ai envie de me plonger davantage dans ce monde. C'est parti... !"

"A nice nose with tropical fruits, very ripe banana, cinnamon and a well integrated metallic side.The metallic side takes over in the mouth and it's a bit disturbing, but the fruits are also there.The finish is long and rather nice but when the fruits go away there is still the metallic side.A good rum, but not a Caroni I would recommend, there are so many magical ones.To be tasted again with some oxidation, sometimes miracles happen."

"#4279 05.10.2023 J'ai échangé cet échantillon avec Thunderbird et je l'aime bien. Il n'y a pas d'autre solution que d'utiliser un logiciel de gestion de l'information. Le goût est moyennement fruité et frais avec un côté épicé. La bouche est chaude avec une légère note mentholée. La finale est longue et chaude avec des notes de bois grillé et une touche épicée. Le verre dessine de jolis rideaux. Le verre vide est agréable et présente des notes de menthe, de raisin sec et une légère note florale."

Mais on sent aussi les fruits jaunes, la corde végétale et toujours un petit côté pâtisserie, surtout en finale qui est longue sur un mélange de boisé et de corde végétale un peu maigre."

"Comme j'avais deux bouteilles à diviser, j'ai remarqué lors de la mise en bouteille qu'une bouteille était claire et que l'autre avait déjà des dépôts de fût visibles. J'ai donc essayé les deux en parallèle. Celui avec des peluches dans la bouteille était bon, l'autre était bizarre. Ce n'est pas un vrai punch, désolé. Mais avec du coca, elle est quand même assez gouleyante pour une ivresse rapide."
