Bouche Intense, bois, gingembre, banane, fumée légère, terre légère, chocolat léger, café léger, pruneaux. Finale Moyenne à longue, bois, pruneaux, tabac, chocolat léger, goudron léger, gingembre. Note supplémentaire. Doit reposer pendant un bon moment, sinon il est très intense et de nombreux arômes manqueront."

"Au nez, il est d'abord assez alcoolisé, puis on retrouve les marqueurs typiques des PMs continentaux comme l'olive, l'anis, la mirabelle et la vanille, ainsi qu'une certaine 'funkiness', comme on l'avait déjà remarqué avec le Romdeluxe PM 2005. En bouche, du chêne, de la noix de muscade et une très agréable note amère. L'alcool pourrait être un peu mieux intégré (ce qui entraîne également une finale légèrement piquante). Mais sinon, le TCRL me convient parfaitement."

"C'est un autre échantillon que j'ai apporté à la fête et il s'est également bien comporté. Je dirais que le prix correspond assez bien à la qualité. Ce rhum a besoin de se reposer pendant un certain temps ou l'ABV vous mordra à la fois au nez et au palais. Le nez est frais et a un léger bois fumé, de la pomme et de l'anis. Si vous ne le reposez pas, l'ABV va vous mordre. Le palais est bien équilibré entre le bois fumé et les fruits avec des épices et des notes médicinales à la traîne. Encore une fois, l'ABV va mordre si vous ne le reposez pas. La finale est longue, fraîche et ronde avec un léger bois et des fruits."

"Je ne me sens pas vraiment à l'aise avec la ligne Transcontinental - et cette mise en bouteille s'inscrit parfaitement dans mon tableau de la série : Des millésimes courants de distilleries et de marques connues, mais dans l'ensemble, le rhum mis en bouteille joue au mieux en deuxième division. Malheureusement, c'est la même chose ici - pour les Diamonds de 2003, il existe désormais une sélection imposante, la présente mise en bouteille se trouve au mieux dans la moyenne inférieure des sorties que je connais. Plutôt décevant."

Un peu en deçà de ses possibilités en raison de la dilution, mais exempt de notes désagréables. La finale est malheureusement trop courte, mais avec un peu de retard, la canne à sucre et des notes de fruits jaunes ressortent des joues, ce qui me plaît bien."

Finale courte à moyenne, suggérant le sucre blanc brûlé."
