"A nose of vanilla and barley sugar, wood and candy. The beginning of the palate is too sweet, diluted and the middle is thin. The finish is short and soon all that's left is a taste of honey candy. A well-made rum, easy to drink, but not very interesting for all that. The empty glass reveals some well-integrated wood."

"This one is slightly better than the Eximo and the first thing is that this one has g far more wood to it. I guess many wont like the woody notes. The nose is fruity with vanilla followed by coconut and caramel. A hint of sherry is there as well. The palate is balanced and sweet with fruit and vanilla. Caramel, molasses and sherry follows. Here the oak really hits you, seriously. The finish is also full of oak, sweet and fruity with spices. Looking at the price the Eximo is the better option considering price to quality. "

"Times not high-level rum and still without additives... you can try. Did not know Don Q yet. Clearly a representative of the Spanish style.Nose: fruity-woody and as the first light cigar tobacco, wrapped in vanilla and toffee. The fruit goes in the direction of green apple with some lemon. Seems quite light overall, the alcohol stings a bit despite being only 49%. Fairly ok. 72Palate: spicy-woody and tobacco here as well. A bit spicy at first though and slightly salty-bitter, pepper with a hint of caraway. Overall a bit short and flat. 68Not bad, but not interesting enough either. The tobacco note, however, I find quite good."

"I got this one from a friend because he wanted to tease me, but he failed because though I don't like Bacardi I was nicely surprised. The nose is light and a bit sweet. Vanilla is very obvious with oak without overpowering the caramel, coconut and honey. The palate is sweet fruity with cinnamon, peat and oak. A nice surprise and definitely one you can enjoy without mixing. The finish is medium long, warm and sweet. "

"Once again a Donq double cask. And this one is also very soft and balanced. Citrus, a little caramel and an earthy, slightly musty note characterize it. If you're looking for something light or want to delve deeper into cask ageing, this is the one for you. The influence of the wine cask is very clear. Pleasant would be the best word for me."

"05.2024 Does really well in the blender, gives pleasantly subtle flavors without dominating the drink 06.2023 Fruity, honey-sweet nose, which unfortunately evaporates relatively quickly. The palate is strong, woody and astringent with a long, warm finish. I prefer to enjoy it in mixers rather than neat."

"23.05.2020 Crazy tasting with lots of participants and a few friends. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light, light wood, flora, vanilla, spice, dried fruit, light earthy, light leather, faint chocolate, cinnamon. Palate Light, sweet, light wood, spice, dried fruit, light caramel, vanilla, light tobacco. Finish Short to medium, sweet, light wood, dried fruit, caramel, faint chocolate, spice."
