"Après une nouvelle dégustation, je maintiens ma note initiale. C'est la bombe de Chairman's Reserve. Un rhum très intense et bien équilibré. J'ai eu la chance d'obtenir un échantillon et je l'aime beaucoup. Le nez est intense et présente du bois fumé et des fruits, suivis de cannelle et de café. La bouche reprend là où le nez s'est arrêté. Un rhum chaud et intense, mais bien équilibré avec du bois fumé, des fruits et des épices. La finale est extrêmement longue et chaude avec du bois fumé, des fruits secs et des épices. Le rapport qualité/prix peut être discuté, quand je le compare à mes autres vieux rhums Chairman's Reserve pour lesquels j'ai payé moins de la moitié :-)"

On a de beaux fruits bien mûrs, un peu d’ananas et de pomme assez faciles à déceler mais à côté une cire trop présente et des épices timides. Le tout finit un peu tôt.. ça manque de longueur, ça manque de quelques chose cette affaire."
