"Un rhum exotique pour moi, un rhum américain. Les Balkones étaient déjà une bonne surprise pour moi, voyons ce que celui-ci peut faire... Nez : plein et puissant à l'attaque. Il contient une bonne part de fûts de bourbon. Au début, il est aussi nettement vinegar. Il est à la fois fruité et boisé-épicé. Pour le fruité, je suis en présence de banane plantain verte et d'abricot séché. Il a des arômes assez riches et épicés de vieux Maggi avec un peu de vanille et de douceur de caramel. Avec du cuir et du chêne. J'aime beaucoup et présente effectivement des similitudes avec le Balkones. 8,2Palais : ici aussi, on perçoit une nette touche de bourbon. Il a une texture lourde, légèrement huileuse, clairement boisée, mais accompagnée d'unami et de cuir. Noisé et sucré, peut-être de la fève tonka. Pas mal dans l'ensemble, même si un peu trop brut dans l'ensemble. Il serait vraiment intéressant de goûter celui qui a vieilli plus longtemps... 7,8"
