"Un rhum dégusté au Whisky Live à Paris en 2024. Des fleurs et des fruits au nez, du végétal et un léger menthol, c’est à coup sûr un rhum de plaisir ici. La bouche est presque meilleure encore avec tous les arômes du nez plus un côté marrons glacés. Élégante et équilibrée. Longue finale avec tous les arômes qui disparaissent lentement. Une belle découverte que ce Beenleigh !"

"Nez très fermé au départ. Bois et pommes. Bouche : encore du bois de chêne (chêne américain/pin). Bourbon. Poire... beaucoup de poire. Quelques pêches mûres également. Une belle douceur. Sec et amer. Le fût est très dominant, mais ce n'est pas grave. Ce vin a besoin d'un peu de temps dans le verre. J'aime l'équilibre entre la douceur, les fruits et la barrique. Un peu de poivre ou de gingembre. Savoureux. Probablement l'un des meilleurs Beenleighs que j'ai dégustés."

"Je trouve les notes précédentes qui mettent ce rhum sous les 70/100 plutôt dures... Pour un Beenleigh de 4 ans réduit à 43%, je le trouve plutôt expressif. Il est assez doux au nez. En bouche, l'alcool est là malgré la réduction et le bois déjà présent malgré le jeune âge. Des notes poivrées, une rondeur pas désagréable. Pas dingue. Mais plutot réussi."
