"#4502 01.12.2023 I was top to save this one for last and now I know why. Once rested this is a great release in very good balance between the elements. Lightly fruity with nice roasted wood and spices. The palate is oily with a vegetal and light medicinal touch. The finish is medium to long and warm with anise and raisin. The empty glass has some licorice, light leather and faint caramel."

"Un Port Mourant typique au nez : sucré, épicé, cuir et puis cet abricot sec soufré. La douceur n'est pas tout à fait du miel, mais un peu plus âpre, du sirop d'érable. J'aime beaucoup cette odeur ! En bouche, c'est épicé-sucré, amer-salé. Il y a un peu de tout. Ici aussi, la douceur est plus proche du sirop d'érable que du miel. Muscade, vanille et anis. Puis vers les herbes et le thé. Vraiment sympa. En fin de bouche, l'anis reste le thé."

"31.12. 2019 Dernière dégustation de l'année 2019 qui s'est prolongée jusqu'en 2020. Fêtant avec la famille et les amis qui aiment le rhum nous avons fini par faire une belle fête d'après mes notes. Notes. Couleur claire à moyennement foncée. Nez : frais, bois, torréfié, anis, réglisse légère, médicinal, fruits secs. Bouche : huileux, bois, torréfaction, olive légère, prune, anis. Finale : moyennement longue, bois, réglisse, raisin sec."
