"Nice, mild agricole 7,5:The nose opens with pretty varnished wood, with fragrant essences. It develops notes of tobacco, cedar and cigar box. It is a resinous woody, supple and tender, infused with sweet spices and dried but delicious plants (rosemary, pine). The rum is quite complex, it begins to settle on notes of dried banana and caramelized with honey. The rest reveals even more tobacco, with sweet but full notes of wood and spices. We can distinguish a small roast, a heated and slightly astringent barrel, with tannins of red and black berries. 8:The entry in the mouth is tasty and relatively light from a texture point of view. We find a cane juice rum that manages to stay young. It carries pepper and mild aromatics. The woodiness is less strongly tinged with tobacco, caramel, we keep a fresher and greener vegetal register. The honeyed cane is adorned with sweet spices like cinnamon or tonka bean, very delicate and with waves of red, black berries. 7,3The finish is light, it rests on a slightly vanilla sugar cane, with accents of soft wood, at last with PEZ candies."

"Celui-ci était également correct, mais le rapport qualité/prix n'est peut-être pas optimal. Très peu de fruits dans le profil comme le précédent, mais plus sec en bouche. La finale du fût de madère est présente, mais très bien cachée. Le taux d'alcoolémie l'a définitivement élevé par rapport aux versions habituelles d'Aldea."

"Bottle Market Bremen Oktober 2024. Ebenfalls beim rausgehen mitgenommen. Dieser sagt mir aber nicht ganz zu. Nase überwiegend holzig, aber auch Vanille, Karamell und Schokolade erkennbar. Am Gaumen für mich zu süß, Schokolade und Karamell stechen hier hervor und stellen das Holz leider in den Hintergrund."

"Tastingset from Dam Spirits degustation. Massive virgin/pinewood in the nose. Spicy. Interesting for sure. More massive than you expect at 43%. Taste: bourbon wood kicks in. Burnt sugar. Caramel popcorn. Very tasty. Loving it. Nothing special but well done. Aldea is not your typical agricole but more of a not too sweet Spanish style rum. Lovely drop this where the nose is definitely misleading."

"Un rhum assez chêneux. Fini sur un bateau dans des fûts d'Armagnac/Moscatel et de vin portugais pendant 7 mois. Le chêne est particulièrement présent. Plus d'épices et de bois que de fruits étrangement. Oranges. Caramel/Moka en fin de bouche. Pas mal. J'aurais aimé qu'elle ait plus de % d'alcool."
