Perola Diamond Bellamy‘s Reserve MDR 2012
Highly praised as a dark, roasted Guyana profile with smooth 50% strength and standout value. Great nose, easy sipping, offers authentic Diamond character without a big price tag.
The nose is really great, plenty of dark sugar, malt, licorice, and toasty aromas. The palate continues this, relatively dry and a bit bitter, with more herbal notes. Tobacco in the finish. The alcohol is very well integrated.Read more

Auto-translatedBellamy tasting. A rather dark rum with a nose of young wood, spices, raisins and burnt sugar, Sherry. Not a very well-balanced nose where flavors telescope. The palate is more balanced, soft, diluted, with tobacco and mocha, a vegetal side, leather and caramel. The finish is long, on the woody/bitter side, with a light salty and caramel note. The empty glass offers yet more fragrances. Excellent value for money.
